We have now held two IndieWeb meetups at Ballarat Hackerspace. One attendee published a first site on their own domain; another prepared their DNS for a registrar move. We are planning more fourth-Wednesday gatherings and will post each one when tickets are ready.

Making

• A build-time webring that works on any static host.
• Resource pages that are short enough to read during a meetup.
• A visual theme with personality but no external font, image or script dependency.

Learning

• Which parts of Eleventy make sense fastest when taught in person.
• How much IndieWeb vocabulary is useful before it becomes alphabet soup.
• How to make “view source” feel like an invitation.

Hoping to meet

People with half-built home pages, elaborate blogs, one-file websites, hand-coded experiments, ancient domains, brand-new domains, and no domain yet.
